Mr Copplestone's Curiosity Shoppe (Revisit)

Image
Today we are using the magic of Escape Rooms to travel back to Chapel Street, 1873. This week, we are mixing up the format as we are revisiting a previous escape room! That's right, we loved it so much and had some unfinished business so we simply had to go back! Who was the Game Master? We were greeted by our host, Elaine (who ran our last visit too), who led us back into that infamous time machine, and gave us a shortened safety briefing (as we were last there about 3 days before). Elaine then passed us over to Mr Copplestone himself, who told us that even though we had found some of his time echo crystals just days ago, he had managed to lose them again! What was the story? As before, we were sent back to 1873 and only had 60 minutes before the time machine zoomed back to present day. Our mission was to collect at least 8 Time Echo Crystals that Mr Copplestone left behind on his last trip to 1873. If we had time, we needed to continue looking for more crystals to ensure that the...

Nostalgia

Today we are using the magic of Escape Rooms to travel back to our childhoods in the 90's. 'Nostalgia will require only Congletons finest detectives to help solve the mystery of exactly where items from Matts collection of 80s/90s memorabilia keep disappearing to!!! We do have some suspicions as we have recently reviewed CCTV footage and have spotted what can only appear to be 2 little Italian Plumbers moving the likes of Lucy's Cabbage Patch Kid and Amy's Tamagotchi!!!!! ????' Who was the Game Master? We were greeted by our host, Matt, who talked us through the safety briefing and the background story to the room. Matt was incredibly knowledgeable about escape rooms in general, and this enthusiasm shone through. What was the story? We had 60 minutes to look for Lario and Muigi, the 2 pesky Italian plumbers who had hidden some of Matt, Lucy and Amy's childhood toys. This room was slightly different to what we were used to, we had our main objective (Lario and Mu...

Mr Copplestone's Curiosity Shoppe

Today we are using the magic of Escape Rooms to travel to Chapel Street, 1873. "Mr Copplestone aka “The Professor” is an inventor. His greatest invention is the world’s first time machine, built so he could travel through space and time to find interesting objects and life saving potions to sell in his curiosity shoppe. The time machine is powered by Time Echo Crystals, these crystals are rare and only a small quantity exist in the world. Without them the time machine won't work. Such a precious commodity must be stored & guarded carefully to ensure the future of time travel can continue. There's just one problem with that - Mr Copplestone! He may be a genius, but he's the most forgetful man you could ever meet. This morning when he opened his box of Time Echo Crystals he found only one left inside, where could he have put them? Mr Copplestone and his wife Margaret live on Chapel Street in the year 1873. We can't rely on Mr Copplestone finding the missing cryst...
